Research Interests:
1、Microwave-metal discharge mechanisms and applications
a.To study the heating effect, plasma effect and photo-catalytic effect of microwave-metal discharges;
b.The application of microwave-induced discharges in the energy conversion, such as developing efficiency pyrolysis technology for biomass, E-waste, waste tires, etc.
c.To treat the organic pollutants (such as VOCs, tar) into useful fuel gas or clean gas through microwave-metal discharges.
2、Synthesis of functional nanomaterials:
a.To develop microwave-metal discharges as novel technology to for the efficient production of high-purity carbon-encapsulated metal nanoparticles;
b.To develop microwave-induced hydrothermal processes for preparation of functional nanomaterials.
